The truth about hunting caught on video

These are just a small selection of some of the videos capturing illegal activity of hunts and the cruelty involved. Thousands & thousands of videos are posted online. The hunts claim they are all accidents. Thankfully hundreds of prosecutions have proved hunts are lying but because of loop holes in the law allow this activity to continue.

Image Warwickshire Hunt love their horses
(West Mids Hunt Sabs) : We know that hunts view both their hounds and horses as commodities and neither are treated very well. This video shows just how much the Warwickshire Hunt love their horses. Firstly one horse has a very nasty looking wound at the top its leg with blood pouring down. We’re not sure how it happened but despite the wound the rider continued to ride down the road. Later in the day another rider from the hunt rides her horse into the path of our vehicle, when we try to go round and overtake the horse the rider continues to move the horse into the vehicles path blocking us from continuing down the road.

Devon & Somerset Staghounds October 1st 1992
This film shows Autumn staghunting by the Devon & Somerset Staghounds long before the hunting ban. It was taken on October 1st 1992 by Kevin Hill working undercover for the League Against Cruel Sports. Kevin pretended to be a hunt supporter. At the end of the hunt the exhausted stag was just unable to reach the safety of a LACS sanctuary and was shot in a river. The body was then dragged away and driven in a vehicle to a field for the gralloch (carve-up). Typically the warm heart was cut out and given to the landowner where the deer was killed, the liver was sliced up and shared out amongst hunt supporters, the stomach was given to the hounds and the body was taken away to be eaten. Note the voices of young children taken to witness this butchery.

Image This fox was reared by a hunt for killing pleasure
THESE ARE the frightened eyes of a three-month-old fox cub staring through the bars of a tiny cage where it could barely stand up on the floor of sliding mud. The cub was to be raised, fed, watered, cared for even, before being released in front of a pack of baying hounds and torn to pieces.
Image Snares set in the very heart of the Peak District National Park on the Moscar Estate
Snares set in the very heart of the Peak District National Park on the Moscar Estate. Cutthroat Bridge (SK 213868 – snares within enclosed small woodland off the track). Known to have caught multiple badgers – identifiable by the deep circular pit dug by the badgers trying to escape. Foxes do not exhibit this behaviour. Rotting carcasses lure hungry animals to their deaths. They in turn are left to rot at the site. This area is very close to Derbyshire Wildlife Trust sites, near to Ladybower, this area is very popular with tourists and outdoor types. This cannot be acceptable in a civilised society. All wildlife is at risk, the masked gamekeepers visit at dawn. Please help wildlife over the holiday period, monitor the sites for injured animals and wildlife crime.Thank you to the members of the public who spotted these snares
