The truth about hunting caught on video

These are just a small selection of some of the videos capturing illegal activity of hunts and the cruelty involved. Thousands & thousands of videos are posted online. The hunts claim they are all accidents. Thankfully hundreds of prosecutions have proved hunts are lying but because of loop holes in the law allow this activity to continue.

(Wildlife Witness) : Further video of yesterday’s incident when our monitor stepped in to warn a car driver of hounds on the road after the Portman’s huntsman, Evo Shirley, allowed the hounds to hunt along a road in the full knowledge that they were not following a trail.

Yet another example of the Portman’s huntsman, Evo Shirley’s sheer arrogance and stupidity as he once more endangers road users with his hounds all over road and sending his hounds into roadside hedges looking for foxes and pretending to trail hunt.

The Eggesford were chasing a fox in this area on Saturday and hounds came rampaging through a field of sheep. One sheep became separated from the rest of the flock and found itself surrounded by hounds. If this was a pregnant ewe and she aborts, we all know why! Eggesford terrier man Nathan stood watching and did nothing to intervene. ”

Former Warwickshire Police Chief Superintendent David Whitehouse stood by and watched as the Warwickshire Hunt flushed a fox out of a wood followed seconds later by a full pack of hounds. The lead hounds split from the rest of the pack and ran off after the fox and ended up crossing the busy A426. The rest of the hunt soon followed onto the A426 in an attempt to find the lost hounds. ”

Image Atherstone Hunt Hounds all over road
It’s become apparent that Atherstone huntsman Mike Lane has absolutely no control over his hounds, last week the hounds ended up all over various nearby roads, earlier in the season he managed the remarkable feat of losing some of his hounds whilst leaving the meet. On Tuesday he again lost his hounds, not a few hounds but most of the pack. The hunt had no idea where some of the hounds were and it was thanks to us that none of the hounds ended up on the busy A5 although they were dangerously close to it. It took almost an hour for Mike Lane to get most of the pack back together.
